We celebrated Jessica’s 27th birthday a few days ago (Jan. 16). It was her first birthday in Kenya and “Jamie made it an awesome day” (she totally told me to type that….notice the quotes….i’m just saying.) Pancake and egg breakfast, fresh flowers, and a new wall hanging for the bedroom to start the day. Dinner at Furusato with friends (which is an amazing Japanese restaurant in Westlands that is a little different than the hibachi places back at home, but more authentic), and then cake, movies and games back at the dupe (translation: the most ultra cool, kickin’ awesome duplex ever, which holds the homes of ourselves and our good friends the Nippers) to finish the day.
