So we have lived in Kenya for 10 months and it is finally official that we live and work here, at least in the eyes of the Kenyan Government. We obtained our work permits several months ago, our alien registration cards a few months ago, and just last week the last piece of the puzzle, our Kenyan Driver’s License. Jamie’s driver’s license has actually been on the way since November, but it was lost in the mail for the last half of a year (keep in mind that the office is only a few miles from our campus). Let’s just say that the Kenyan Government isn’t known for its speed or efficiency, but we do love this country and love living and working here. And now, we officially do.
