Sophie will be turning 1 next week…..which is so hard to believe.  Unfortunately all of her little friends from Rosslyn are leaving the country before her birthday, and since we will be flying out for Italy on her actual birthday, we decided to have a small birthday party for her a little early.  Sophie got her first taste of cake (which she loved) opened presents, and spent some time playing with her friends.  She had a great time, but she (and Mom and Dad!) is really going to miss all of these girls next year.
