In 2008 we moved to Nairobi, Kenya, and began working at an International Christian School called Rosslyn Academy. In 2013, we made the transition to full-time missions and humanitarian work. We serve as the People to People Directors for East Africa, overseeing the child sponsorship program, as well as a variety of outreach endeavors. We partner with several feeding programs at schools, orphanages, and churches all over the nation of Kenya, offering support to the needs the face, as well as in assisting these programs in moving towards self-sustainability through income-generating activities. We also recently launched a small micro0finance loan program in Ethiopia that we hope to expand in the future.
We have been married since 2005. In 2010 God blessed us with our beautiful daughter, Sophie Grace, and in 2012 we were blessed with our son, Ethan. Both children were born in Nairobi, Kenya, and we all consider Kenya to be our home away from home.
